Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G7, with a 79.5 score against 75.2. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has older 14 version while Motorola Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although the Asus ROG Phone 8 is a lot newer than the Motorola Moto G7, it's a lot heavier and thicker.
The Motorola Moto G7 features a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better looking display than Moto G7, because although it has a little lower display pixel density, it also counts with a little bigger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a greater camera than Moto G7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and videos in low light situations, it also counts with a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition and a way higher resolution camera in the back. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a bigger storage for applications and games than Moto G7, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a way better battery duration than Motorola Moto G7, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
