Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is much better than Moto G7's 75.2 global score. Huawei P40's body is newer than Moto G7's, but it is just a bit thicker and a little bit heavier. These devices come with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version while Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei P40 features a bit better hardware performance than Moto G7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 counts with a slightly better screen than Moto G7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little greater screen pixels density.
Huawei P40 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Moto G7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way more mega-pixels camera and higher video frame rates.
The Moto G7 has more storage to store more games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 has superior battery lifetime than Moto G7, because it has a 27 percent greater battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 costs a lot more than Moto G7, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
