The Moto G8 Power is just a bit better than Moto G7, having a global score of 76 against 75.2. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Moto G8 Power has the previous 10 version while Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Moto G8 Power is newer than the Moto G7, it's thicker and somewhat heavier.

The Moto G8 Power features a bit faster CPU than Motorola Moto G7. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Moto G8 Power and Moto G7 both count with quite similar displays, because although the Motorola Moto G8 Power has a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2300 pixels resolution.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power features a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a bigger camera aperture for better photography and videos in low-light situations.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power has as much storage to store more apps and games as the Motorola Moto G7 one, they have the same internal storage and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Power features a superior battery lifetime than Moto G7, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Moto G8 Power is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G7. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Motorola Moto G7, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
