The Motorola Moto Z3 Play is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G7, getting a general score of 76.3 against 75.2. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a thinner and just a bit lighter cellphone than the Motorola Moto G7, although both were released only a couple of months apart. Motorola Moto Z3 Play and Moto G7 count with very similar CPUs, they have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Moto G7 and Motorola Moto Z3 Play both have quite similar screens, although the Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a little lower amount of pixels per display inch, a little lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a quite smaller screen. Moto Z3 Play features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Moto Z3 Play also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Moto Z3 Play has a battery performance that's just as good as the Motorola Moto G7 one. The Moto Z3 Play has a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have the same video resolution, a camera with a 12 megapixels resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Moto Z3 Play also has a larger camera aperture.
Although Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto G7, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
