Comparison review

The Galaxy J8 has a score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than Moto G7's general score of 75.2. Although it's the best in this comparison, we must note that it's also a a little heavier and just a little thicker phone. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy J8 has the previous 10 version and Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Motorola Moto G7 and Galaxy J8 count with really similar processing units, both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Moto G7 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2270px, a bit bigger screen and a higher pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy J8's camera is just as good as the camera in Moto G7, and although the Samsung Galaxy J8 has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light images and videos and a way more MP back-facing camera, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate.

Motorola Moto G7 has slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G7 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy J8 has a little longer battery performance than Moto G7, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
