Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Moto G7's 75.2 general score. Galaxy Note 5 is an older phone than Moto G7, but Samsung was able to make it a bit thinner and a little bit lighter. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS, but Galaxy Note 5 has the older 5.1 version while Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a brighter display than Moto G7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Moto G7 has a superior storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto G7 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Motorola Moto G7 features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Motorola Moto G7 also has 7 more cores (although they are slower). The Galaxy Note 5 has a battery life that's very similar to the battery duration in Motorola Moto G7.

The Galaxy Note 5 has a little bit better camera than Moto G7, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G7. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Moto G7, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
