Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G7, with a score of 81.7 against 75.2. The Galaxy S8 construction has the same thickness than the Motorola Moto G7, but it is a bit lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a bit better processing power than Moto G7. They have a 4 GB RAM and 8 processing cores.
Galaxy S8 features a much better looking display than Moto G7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Moto G7 has slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G7 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy S8 has a battery duration that's very similar to Moto G7's battery performance. The Samsung Galaxy S8 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have the same video quality, the same video frame rate and a camera with a 12 megapixels, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a bigger camera aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 costs more than Moto G7, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
