Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is a bit better than Moto G7's general score of 75.2. The Xperia XZ2 Premium body is notably heavier and way thicker than the Moto G7. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a lot better display than Moto G7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher number of pixels per screen inch and a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little better processing power than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better camera than Moto G7, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a camera with a way better resolution.
The Moto G7 has a little bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G7 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features superior battery performance than Moto G7, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto G7, letting go a couple specifications.
