Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a bit better than Motorola Moto G7, having a score of 79.8 against 75.2. Both devices we are comparing here use Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version and Motorola Moto G7 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium design has the same thickness than Motorola Moto G7, but it's just a little bit heavier.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto G7, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a much greater display pixel density. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little better processing power than Motorola Moto G7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

The Moto G7 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Xperia Z5 Premium has just a little better battery duration than Moto G7, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better camera than Moto G7, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G7. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Moto G7, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
