Moto G71 5G is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, with a overall score of 82.9 against 77.4. Moto G71 5G's construction is much newer and a little lighter than Huawei Mate 8's, but it is also a bit thicker. Huawei Mate 8 features a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Moto G71 5G, and although the Huawei Mate 8 has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Moto G71 5G counts with a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit higher display density, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite larger display. The Huawei Mate 8 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G71 5G, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
