The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a little bit better than the Moto G71 5G, getting an 83.2 score against 82.9. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia 1 VI has a newer 14 version and Moto G71 5G has Android 11, giving you some nice extra features. The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a notably lighter and incredibly thinner cellphone than Moto G71 5G.
Motorola Moto G71 5G features a much powerful processing unit than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a little more vivid display than Moto G71 5G, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840, a bit larger screen and a higher count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia 1 VI has a better camera than Moto G71 5G, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and videos and a worse resolution back camera, it also counts with a way better video quality. The Xperia 1 VI counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G71 5G, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1 TB.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a battery duration that is just as good as the battery duration in Motorola Moto G71 5G.
