Google Pixel 3a is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, with a overall score of 78.8 against 77.6. The Google Pixel 3a is a somewhat thinner and much lighter phone than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, even when they were released with only 6 months difference. The Google Pixel 3a counts with a little bit better looking display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2220 resolution, it also counts with a bit better pixels density.

Moto G8 Plus counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Moto G8 Plus also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G8 Plus features longer battery life than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
