Huawei P30 has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 score. Huawei P30 is a somewhat thinner and lighter device than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, although both were only released with a couple of months difference. Huawei P30 features a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Huawei P30 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P30 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P30 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a lower (4K) video definition, a worse resolution back-facing camera and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking images or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Moto G8 Plus features more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P30, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Moto G8 Plus features a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3650mAh.
