Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a score of 88.2, which is much better than the Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 score. Even though Huawei P40 Pro and the Moto G8 Plus were released with only 6 months difference, the Huawei P40 Pro design is somewhat heavier but also just a little bit thinner. Huawei P40 Pro features a little better processing power than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has a slightly higher 1200 x 2640px resolution, a little more pixels per screen inch and a little larger display. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a better storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Huawei P40 Pro shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher video frame rate, a camera with a higher 50 mega-pixels resolution and a much larger back camera sensor taking way higher quality photos.
Huawei P40 Pro features just a bit longer battery duration than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a 4200mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
