Despite being the best in this comparison, Moto G8 Plus is an extremely older, thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than Motorola Edge 40 Neo. The Moto G8 Plus counts with a much greater processing power than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a much better looking display than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a little bigger display, a just a bit better pixel number per inch of screen and a quite better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Moto G8 Plus has a bigger memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a lot bigger sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality and a better 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo has longer battery life than Moto G8 Plus, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
