Comparison review
The Moto G51 5G is a little bit better than the Moto G8 Plus, getting a general score of 77.8 against 77.6. The Moto G51 5G construction has the same thickness than the Moto G8 Plus, but it is just a little heavier. Moto G8 Plus and Moto G51 5G count with similar screens, because although the Moto G51 5G has a little bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little bit larger screen.
The Motorola Moto G51 5G has as much memory for games and applications as Motorola Moto G8 Plus, they have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same 64 GB internal memory. Motorola Moto G51 5G's processor is just as good as the Motorola Moto G8 Plus one, both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Moto G8 Plus takes slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G51 5G, because although it has a lesser megapixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments.
Motorola Moto G51 5G has improved battery duration than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a 25% bigger battery size.
