Moto G9 Power has a general score of 78.6, which is a little bit better than the Moto G8 Plus's general score of 77.6. Although Moto G9 Power is newer than Moto G8 Plus, it's just a little thicker and heavier. The Motorola Moto G9 Power's processing unit is just as good as Moto G8 Plus's processor, both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Moto G8 Plus features a sharper display than Motorola Moto G9 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better display density and a lot better 1080 x 2280px resolution. Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a little bit better camera than Moto G9 Power, because although it has a back facing camera with a way worse 48 MP resolution, it also counts with a much better (4K) video definition and a larger aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
Moto G9 Power counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Moto G9 Power also has more internal storage capacity. The Moto G9 Power counts with a much better battery life than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
