The Moto G8 Plus is a bit better than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, getting a general score of 77.6 against 77.4. Moto G8 Plus is a notably newer phone than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, although it's incredibly thicker and noticeably heavier. The Moto G8 Plus and the Moto Z2 Play both count with quite similar displays, because although the Moto Z2 Play has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play has just a little better processing power than Moto G8 Plus. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Moto G8 Plus has greater battery duration than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 33% bigger battery size. Moto G8 Plus takes a lot better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Moto G8 Plus also has a back facing camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
