The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a global score of 80.2, which is slightly better than Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 score. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note5 is older than the Moto G8 Plus, it's body is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter. Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit better screen than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a bit more powerful CPU than Moto G8 Plus. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Moto G8 Plus has a better camera than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G8 Plus also has a much larger sensor, a camera with lot more mega pixels and a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography in low-light situations.
