Galaxy S8 Active is a bit better than Moto G8 Plus, with an 81.9 score against 77.6. Even being the best device in this comparison, we must tell that it's also noticeably older, just a little bit heavier and a bit thicker. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better hardware performance than Moto G8 Plus. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores.
Galaxy S8 Active features a much better looking display than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Motorola Moto G8 Plus features just a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy S8 Active and Motorola Moto G8 Plus count with very similar battery performance. The Moto G8 Plus captures better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video quality and a F1.7 aperture, the Moto G8 Plus also has a way more mega-pixels camera and a way bigger camera sensor taking much better quality pictures.
