The Sony Xperia 1 II has a score of 91, which is much better than Moto G8 Plus's global score of 77.6. Sony Xperia 1 II is a somewhat thinner and just a little lighter phone than Moto G8 Plus, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference. The Sony Xperia 1 II features a brighter screen than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a little bit larger display, a lot greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840.
The Xperia 1 II has a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia 1 II has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Moto G8 Plus captures much better videos and photos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has lower video frame rate and a smaller sensor, and they both have a F1.7 aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Moto G8 Plus also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera. Xperia 1 II's battery life is very similar to the Motorola Moto G8 Plus one.
