Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than Moto G8 Plus's global score of 77.6. Xperia 1 III is a newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Moto G8 Plus. Xperia 1 III counts with a brighter screen than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a lot greater display pixel density, a little bigger screen and a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Xperia 1 III has a bit faster processing unit than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xperia 1 III features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Moto G8 Plus captures slightly better videos and photos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors and slower video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Moto G8 Plus also counts with a much more mega pixels back camera.
