The Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than Moto G8 Plus's global score of 77.6. Xperia 1 III is a newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Moto G8 Plus. Xperia 1 III counts with a brighter screen than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a lot greater display pixel density, a little bigger screen and a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
