The Xperia XA2 Plus has a general score of 78.6, which is a bit better than Moto G8 Plus's global score of 77.6. Even being the best in this comparison review, Xperia XA2 Plus's body is older, just a little thicker and just a bit heavier than Moto G8 Plus. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a slightly better display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. Motorola Moto G8 Plus features a bit bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a little better battery performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery capacity. Moto G8 Plus takes much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Moto G8 Plus also has a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light environments and a larger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.
