Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, having a score of 79.8 against 77.6. Xperia Z5 Premium is an much older cellphone than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, but Sony managed to build it a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little faster CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a lot better looking screen than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much better pixels density. The Moto G8 Plus features a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

Motorola Moto G8 Plus takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a bigger sensor, a larger camera aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a camera in the back with much more MP.

The Moto G8 Plus features a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 17% more battery size.
