Comparison review
Moto G8 Plus is slightly better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, with a global score of 77.6 against 76.1. The Moto G8 Plus body has the same thickness than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, but it's just a little lighter. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a little better processing power than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a screen that's very similar to the Motorola Moto G8 Plus one, because although the TCL 20 Pro 5G has a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little larger screen. TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a camera that is just as good as the Motorola Moto G8 Plus one, and although the TCL 20 Pro 5G has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking photos or video in low-light environments, they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, a same size camera sensor, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
