The Microsoft Surface Duo is slightly better than Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite, getting a global score of 78.8 against 74.3. Even though Microsoft Surface Duo and Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite were only released with a couple of months difference, the Microsoft Surface Duo construction is notably thinner but also a lot heavier than Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Duo has the older 10 version and Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Moto G8 Power Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has more RAM. Microsoft Surface Duo has a sharper display than Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 1800 x 2700 pixels and a greater pixel density.

The Moto G8 Power Lite features a bit bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite features just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have a F2 diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite also counts with a much more MP back facing camera.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite counts with a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3577mAh.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
