Moto G31's body is newer, a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Moto G8 Power Lite. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Moto G31 has the previous 11 version and Moto G8 Power Lite has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Motorola Moto G31 counts with a sharper display than Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a much better number of pixels per inch of display. Moto G31 has a superior camera than Moto G8 Power Lite, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Moto G31 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a bigger aperture to take better captures and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Moto G31's battery duration is very similar to Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite's battery lifetime.
