Moto Z3 Play's body is notably thinner and a lot lighter than Moto G8 Power Lite, although it was released just a bit more than a year before. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play captures clearer pictures and videos than Moto G8 Power Lite, because although it has a back camera with way less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better images in poorly lited situations and a lot higher (4K) video resolution. Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite counts with a very superior battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G8 Power Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G8 Power Lite. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Moto Z3 Play, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8 Power Lite, giving up a couple specs and features.
