The HTC U Ultra is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power, having a score of 77 against 76. HTC U Ultra's design is lighter and thinner than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, although it was released 3 years before. HTC U Ultra counts with a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and more pixels per inch of display.

HTC U Ultra counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the HTC U Ultra also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with just a bit better hardware performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also has more CPU cores.

Motorola Moto G8 Power has a slightly better camera than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a tinier camera sensor capturing lower quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better 16 MP resolution and a larger aperture.

The Moto G8 Power has a very superior battery performance than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 67 percent larger battery size.

Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the HTC U Ultra, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8 Power, giving up some features and specs.
