The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the Moto G8 Power's score of 76. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro body is thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Moto G8 Power, even though it was released a little bit over a year before. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better screen density.
Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit better CPU than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with longer battery life than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a better camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with a much better 40 mega pixels resolution.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G8 Power. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Motorola Moto G8 Power, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
