The Huawei Mate 30 5G has a global score of 87.4, which is better than Motorola Moto G8 Power's score of 76. Although Huawei Mate 30 5G and the Motorola Moto G8 Power were released with only 6 months difference, Huawei Mate 30 5G is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter. Both of these devices use the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should provide very similar OS features.
Huawei Mate 30 5G features a little sharper screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
