The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G8 Power's 76 global score. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version. Despite of the fact that the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is extremely older than Motorola Moto G8 Power, it's design is a lot thinner and somewhat lighter.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little more vivid display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen.

Moto G8 Power features a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto G8 Power also has a larger back camera sensor taking higher quality pictures, a way bigger diafragm aperture and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.

Motorola Moto G8 Power features a bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB. The Moto G8 Power counts with better battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.

Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save some money and get the Moto G8 Power, letting go a couple specs and features.
