LG G5 is slightly better than the Moto G8 Power, getting a 76.1 score against 76. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but LG G5 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10, so it provides some extra features. LG G5 is an extremely older cellphone than the Moto G8 Power, but it is somewhat lighter and a lot thinner anyway.

LG G5 counts with a slightly better display than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels amount in each inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Moto G8 Power counts with a bit better processing power than LG G5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Moto G8 Power also has 4 more cpu cores (although slower).

The LG G5 and Motorola Moto G8 Power have extremely similar cameras, because although the LG G5 has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same resolution back camera, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality pictures and videos.

The LG G5 counts with a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a superior battery performance than LG G5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG G5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G8 Power, letting go a couple specs and features.
