Microsoft Surface Duo has a global score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power's global score of 76. The Microsoft Surface Duo construction is notably heavier but a lot thinner than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and they were only released 5 months apart. These phones use the same Android 10 OS.

The Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit more powerful processor than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit more vivid display than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because it has a larger screen, a higher 1800 x 2700 resolution and a just a little higher pixels amount per display inch.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Power features a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3577mAh.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G8 Power. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Moto G8 Power, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
