The Motorola Edge (2022) is better than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, having an 84.7 score against 76. Motorola Edge (2022) is a way newer device, and it is also somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Moto G8 Power. These phones come with Android operating system, but Motorola Edge (2022) has 12 version while Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10.
Motorola Edge (2022) has a bit more vivid screen than Moto G8 Power, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a little bit bigger display and a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The Motorola Moto G8 Power has a better memory for applications and games than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Motorola Edge (2022) has a bit faster processor than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola Edge (2022) also has more RAM memory. Motorola Edge (2022) features a better camera than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge (2022) also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a back camera with a much higher 50 megapixels resolution.
The Motorola Edge (2022) has a battery duration that is very similar to the battery performance in Moto G8 Power.
Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2022), else you can save some money and get the Moto G8 Power, resigning some specifications.
