Moto G9 Play is a little bit better than the Moto G8 Power, getting a general score of 76.7 against 76. Both devices in our current comparison use the same Android 10 OS. Moto G9 Play's body is just a little bit heavier but a bit thinner than the Moto G8 Power, and both were only released with a couple of months difference.
Motorola Moto G8 Power and Motorola Moto G9 Play count with quite similar processors, both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a much better looking screen than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2300 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play and Moto G8 Power count with similar memory for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal storage and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Motorola Moto G9 Play takes better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same video quality and a same size aperture, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality, a way better resolution back-facing camera and faster video frame rates.
