The Galaxy Note 5 is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, getting a 79.3 score against 76. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 5 has older 5.1 version and Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10. The Galaxy Note 5 is an older phone than Motorola Moto G8 Power, but it is a lot thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.

Galaxy Note 5 has a much better display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater number of pixels per inch of display. The Moto G8 Power counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Moto G8 Power also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

The Moto G8 Power counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Moto G8 Power also has a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a camera that is just as good as the camera in Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have a 16 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, the same video definition and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.

The Moto G8 Power counts with a much better battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8 Power, resigning a couple specs and features.
