The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a bit better than Moto G8 Power's 76 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is an notably older cellphone than the Moto G8 Power, but it is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter anyway. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version.

The Galaxy S5 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has an inferior number of cores and less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much sharper screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixel density.

Moto G8 Power has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Power features a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S5's camera is very similar to Motorola Moto G8 Power's camera, because although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a back-facing camera with a 16 megapixels, it also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a better image and video quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G8 Power. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Moto G8 Power, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
