The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Motorola Moto G8 Power, with a 94.6 score against 76. Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Motorola Moto G8 Power were released only a few months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is a lot heavier but noticeably thinner than the Motorola Moto G8 Power. These phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a newer 11 version while Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features and performance improvements.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little bit better performance than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little bit better display than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a just a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a larger screen and a better resolution of 1768 x 2208px.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 takes clearer photographs and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, a much worse resolution camera in the back and a lower (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot larger camera sensor which provides a much higher photo and video quality.

The Moto G8 Power features a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G8 Power. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G8 Power, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
