Comparison review

Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is a bit better than the Moto G8 Power's global score of 76. Xperia 1's design is just a little bit lighter and thinner than Moto G8 Power, although it was released around 11 months before. Xperia 1 has just a little better hardware performance than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Xperia 1 has a more vivid display than Moto G8 Power, because it has a lot greater screen pixels density, a quite bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840. The Motorola Moto G8 Power has a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality images and videos and a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light captures, and they both have the same video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also counts with a way higher 16 MP resolution camera and better 30 fps video frame rate.

The Xperia 1 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has more internal memory capacity. Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a way better battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3330mAh.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 1, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G8 Power, letting go some specs and features.
