Comparison review

Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than the Moto G8 Power's 76 score. These phones include Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has a more recent 11 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10, so it gives some extra features. Xperia 1 III's body is newer, a little lighter and thinner than the Moto G8 Power.

The Xperia 1 III features a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 1 III has a much better display than Moto G8 Power, because it has a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a way higher display density and a bit larger display.

The Xperia 1 III counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Moto G8 Power, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB and 192 GB more internal storage. Xperia 1 III captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a worse (4K) video quality and a much worse resolution camera, and they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia 1 III also counts with a much bigger camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photos.

Moto G8 Power counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8 Power. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto G8 Power, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
