The Xperia 5 III is better than the Moto G8 Power, with a 90.5 score against 76. Xperia 5 III is a newer phone, and it is also somewhat lighter and thinner than the Moto G8 Power. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Xperia 5 III has newer 11 version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, so it gives some additional features.

Xperia 5 III counts with a bit more vivid display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a bit higher screen pixel density. The Xperia 5 III features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia 5 III has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB and more internal memory. The Moto G8 Power features a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5 III, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a camera with much less megapixels and a lower video resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Xperia 5 III also counts with a much larger sensor.
