The Xperia Z5 has a global score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power's score of 76. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version and Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version. Although Xperia Z5 is noticeably older than Motorola Moto G8 Power, it's design is much lighter and thinner.

Sony Xperia Z5 features a much better looking display than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

The Xperia Z5 captures clearer pictures and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking images and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a much better resolution back camera and a larger back camera sensor.

Moto G8 Power features a much better memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G8 Power has a much better battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 72 percent more battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5, else you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8 Power, resigning a couple features and specs.
