Comparison review

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a general score of 77.5, which is a bit better than Moto G8 Power's 76 score. Although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is much older and just a little bit heavier than Moto G8 Power, it's body is still notably thinner. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a processing unit that is just as good as Motorola Moto G8 Power's processor, they have a Octa-Core processor and a 4 GB RAM memory.

The Moto G8 Power has a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a same size screen, the Moto G8 Power also has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2300 pixels and a just a little higher display density. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features slightly more memory for applications and games than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features just a bit longer battery duration than Moto G8 Power, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh. Moto G8 Power captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto G8 Power also has a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs, a way bigger diafragm aperture and a way higher 16 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it costs more money than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G8 Power. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Moto G8 Power, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
