Comparison review

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a general score of 76, which is slightly better than the Moto G8 Power's overall score of 76. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10. Although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is older than Moto G8 Power, it's design is much thinner and somewhat lighter.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2's CPU is just as good as the Moto G8 Power one, because although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a lower number of cores , it also counts with 2 GB more RAM. The Moto G8 Power counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2300 pixels, a little bit bigger screen and a bit better number of pixels per screen inch.

Moto G8 Power counts with a better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Power features improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

The Moto G8 Power shoots better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor, a back camera with much less mega pixels and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.

Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Moto G8 Power, giving up some features and specs.
