Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Moto G8 Power, getting a general score of 81.1 against 76. Both of these phones include the same Android 10 operating system. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Moto G8 Power were released only a couple months apart, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro design is just a bit thinner but also a little heavier.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Moto G8 Power and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro have extremely similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a little bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite larger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's memory capacity to install applications and games is very similar to Motorola Moto G8 Power's one, both of them have the same internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a much better camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with a much better resolution and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing way better quality photos.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a battery performance that is very similar to the battery performance in Moto G8 Power, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro costs more than Moto G8 Power, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
