Google Pixel 6a is just a bit better than Moto G8, getting a 76.4 score against 74.4. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Pixel 6a has the newer 12 version and Moto G8 has Android 10 version, giving some additional features and improved performance. The Google Pixel 6a body has the same thickness than the Moto G8, but it is just a little bit lighter.
The Moto G8 counts with a way better performance than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Google Pixel 6a has a slightly better display than Moto G8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher amount of pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Motorola Moto G8 and Google Pixel 6a feature really similar cameras, and although the Google Pixel 6a has a lot worse 12.2 MP resolution camera in the back and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, they both have a F1.7 aperture. Moto G8 counts with a greater storage for applications and games than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
The Google Pixel 6a has a little longer battery performance than Motorola Moto G8, because it has 4410mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Google Pixel 6a is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel 6a, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8, giving up a couple specs and features.
