HTC U Ultra has a score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 general score. HTC U Ultra's design is just a little bit lighter and thinner than the Motorola Moto G8, although it was released 3 years before. The HTC U Ultra counts with a much better display than Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher pixel amount per screen inch and a much higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
HTC U Ultra counts with much more storage to install games and applications than Moto G8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the HTC U Ultra also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Moto G8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Moto G8 also has a higher number of cores.
The Motorola Moto G8 features better battery duration than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. HTC U Ultra has just a bit better camera than Moto G8, although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, a way worse resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8, letting go some specifications.
