Huawei Mate 40 Pro is way better than the Moto G8, with a overall score of 90.9 against 74.4. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Although it's the best in this review, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is an a little bit thicker and heavier cellphone than the Moto G8.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a much higher amount of pixels per inch of screen, a lot higher 1334 x 2772 resolution and a little bigger display.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a lot higher resolution back facing camera and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little longer battery performance than Moto G8, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
