Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Moto G8, getting an 89.1 score against 74.4. The Huawei Mate X2 construction is newer and a little thinner than Moto G8's, but it is extremely heavier. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). The Huawei Mate X2 features a sharper display than Moto G8, because it has a much higher 2200 x 2480px resolution, a bigger display and a lot higher pixels count per inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a greater memory to store more apps and games than Moto G8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate X2 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a little longer battery duration than Moto G8, because it has a 13 percent more battery capacity. Huawei Mate X2 shoots much better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G8, giving up some features and specs.
